The forging process enables precise, geometrically consistent and repeatable parts, even in large series.
Because forging allows for closer approximation to finished shapes, the machining phase is shortened and material waste is reduced. Forging is therefore particularly cost-effective in demanding and large series.
In addition to thread rolling, industrial forging is one of our key manufacturing methods, which is carried out by our Pirkkala and Toijala units.
We manufacture mold and shaft forgings in the size range of 100 g – 200 kg, as well as screw heads for demanding industrial applications, flexibly according to customer requirements. The forging process significantly improves the strength properties of steel, as the material’s lines of force naturally adapt to the shape of the piece during forging. This ensures excellent durability and structural reliability in the final product.

The 7,000 m² machining plant in Seinäjoki offers a wide capacity for demanding machining projects. Our assembly unit also operates in the same premises, which enables deliveries as complete units.
In Toijala, forging, machining and heat treatment are combined under one roof. The unit also functions as an import warehouse, which supports our delivery reliability and efficient logistics.
Heat treatments can affect the required material properties of a part, such as hardness, strength, toughness and wear resistance. Our own heat treatment units in Pirkkala and Toijala guarantee flexible deliveries.
