Thread rolling

Production of threads by rolling

The screws of our customers’ industries require particular thread strength, in which case the only option for producing threads is by means of rolling. We often produce the screws of demanding applications with strong materials, such as tempered steels, nickel alloys and duplex steels.

Compared to machined threads, rolled threads have a lower risk of galling. By rolling, the piece retains its optimal strength because the power line is not broken.

When the thread is produced by means of rolling, the power lines are not broken, and the piece retains its optimal strength. The time for machining is also significantly reduced.
