Whistleblowing

This is Memar Oy’s Whistleblowing reporting channel, through which Memar Oy’s employees and third parties can report suspected serious violations or abuses of the Whistleblowing Directive and serious acts contrary to the law or company guidelines in confidence in Memar Oy’s business areas.

The Whistleblowing Directive defines the scope and operating model for reporting serious misconduct. When acting in accordance with the Directive, the person reporting cannot be subject to retaliation.

When reporting serious misconduct contrary to the company’s operating guidelines and models, the company will try to resolve the matter with the relevant persons and, if necessary, the matter will be referred to the authorities. There will be no sanctions or disadvantages for the reporting party for reporting acts contrary to the company’s guidelines.

The report must always be made honestly and in good faith. If during the processing of the case it becomes apparent that the report was submitted intentionally with false information and with the intention of causing harm, the person making the report may be subject to criminal or labor law sanctions.

When can you use the reporting channel?

In the reporting channel, you can report suspected misconduct within the scope of the whistleblowing directive or other serious misconduct that violates the law or Memar Ltd’s guidelines, which may have harmful effects on Memar Ltd or its customers and partners.

We hope that misconduct would always be primarily raised with the company’s responsible persons.

You can report anonymously

The reporting channel is secure and confidential. All reports are treated confidentially. You can report anonymously. Memar Ltd will not be aware of the sender of the report if you do not include your contact information in the report. You can also leave your contact information for further information if you wish. In this case, your report cannot be treated anonymously, but it will still remain confidential.

Privacy

Memar Ltd acts as the data controller and data processor of the channel. Memar Ltd collects personal data from the person specified in the report, the person submitting the report (if the report is not submitted anonymously) and any third parties in order to investigate suspected violations or abuse, activities contrary to the law or our internal guidelines. Personal data collected through the system is only used to investigate and follow up on reported abuse.
